This week time travel Tuesday transports me back to a weekend trip to Boston and a fabulous meal at Oleana! A friend of mine from school was working at Oleana and certainly gave us the royal treatment. The food at Oleana is Eastern Mediterranean with heavy use of spices and fresh Mediterranean ingredients. The Chef Ana Sortun’s creative mind creates beautiful food with a dedication to authenticity.
We started the meal with Oleana’s homemade spreads for their own fresh bread. Then we Oleana’s take on falafel beautifully displayed on a wood board. Next were the brussel sprout – chicken kebabs with pomegranate (not pictured) and fried cheese salad. We ended the meal with pastry chef, Maura Kilpatrick’s, take on baked Alaska with rose water ice cream.
